Melomans is a vocal and theatrical group created in 2010 by four young Valencian artists: Edu Escartí, Gonzalo Manglano, Javi Reig and Pau Ferrer. With more instruments than his own voices and with his distinctive humor, Melomans has become a leader in contemporary music in Spain.
Its repertoire includes all types of styles, from classics of pop and international rock (Elvis, Beatles, Queen...), to great current hits (Lady Gaga, Shakira...), passing through artists such as Les Luthiers, Serrat or Tequila and other genres such as boleros, habaneras, bossa, barbershop, doo-wop or film soundtracks.
In 2012, Melomans performed Desconcierto, on their first comic-musical show, directed by María Colomer, in which they combined capella songs of different styles with delirious sketches in terms of humor and clown style. With more than 100 performances, this show is currently on tour. He also participated in the home concert at Nino Bravo together with Los Superson, the original band of the great Valencian artist.
In 2014 Melomans published on the first CD, Se canta pero no se toca, where the vocal composition returns to its tradition with the best and most significant songs from its repertoire. In 2017, the second show was 004: Licencia para cantar, a musical comedy with a cape directed by María Colomer and with musical backdrops by Moisés Bautista. It's currently spinning.
They collaborated with the singer Sole Giménez on her album Los hombres sensibles (2017) on the theme Mama Tierra, a song in defense of the environment. In 2019, the third show will be held: "If you sing but you don't touch - live" currently on tour in all of Spain through the New Teatro Alcalá in Madrid in 2021-2022.
In 2022 Melomans releases his second album De Cada Década produced by Erik Bosio and Nacho Mañó and with the participation of Moi Bautista, Lorenzo Subrizi and Tere Nuñez. Galardonado album with 4 awards Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARA).
